Set Margins In Word 2010
May 05, 2020 Set the margins. Type numbers indicating the width of your margins in the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right fields. Only adjust the Gutter margin if you intend to use the document in a bound format, like a book or report, and you need space for the binding. Click the Page Layout tab, then choose Page Setup and then Margins. In the dialog box that allows you to choose the dimensions of your margins (right, left, top, bottom), you’ll also be able to check Mirrored Margins. Word 2010 & 2013 Click the Page Layout tab, then click Margins.
- To change the cell margins, we again click in the table and go to the Layout tab on the right. Then click Cell Margins in the Alignment group. In the Table Options dialog that opens, use the spinners to incrementally change each of the four margins, or simply type in the margin that you want into each field; Top, Bottom, Left or Right.

To set different margins for different sections of the same document,you can insert section breaks. To do this, move the cursor to wherethe new section should start. From the Insert menu, selectBreak, and then select the appropriate type of sectionbreak. A section will continue to the end of the document or up to thenext section break.
